This installation exemplifies Fluidyne's new generation of filtration and process water recovery technology — a non-chemical, high-cleaning-efficiency system that eliminates contaminants down to 98% of particles 5 microns and larger, suppressing the industry standard of 45 microns. The system provides side-stream filtration for district cooling loops, protecting chillers, heat exchangers, and piping from scale and sediment while reducing make-up water consumption, energy use, and maintenance cost.
